What Changed
Clearer journeys for donors, families, and volunteers.
Stronger calls-to-action for giving, applications, and engagement.
A scalable CMS built for easier updates and long-term growth.
Computers 2 Kids (C2K) faced a significant hurdle in bridging the digital divide due to an outdated web infrastructure that lacked modern analytics and a clear user journey. The existing platform made it difficult to measure organizational impact or effectively convert visitors into essential stakeholders, such as donors, program applicants, or volunteers. This lack of digital clarity meant that while the mission was vital, the website acted as a friction point rather than a bridge, hindering the nonprofit’s ability to scale its reach and provide technology to underserved communities.
The primary objective was to transform the website into a mission-driven digital platform that turns passive awareness into measurable community action. Key goals included increasing online donation completion rates, boosting program applications and computer orders, and driving higher volunteer engagement through a more intuitive user experience. Strategically, the project sought to build a scalable, easy-to-manage Content Management System (CMS) that would allow the C2K team to respond to community needs with greater agility and transparency.
Clear user journeys and content prioritized around the needs of key audiences.
Responsive design and performance optimizations for a seamless experience on any device.
Fewer steps, clearer CTAs, and trust-building elements to reduce friction and drive completion.
Compelling stories that inspire action and an easy CMS for the team to update with confidence.
