The Poolside Perspective with Radostina Stoycheva from Compass Digital
Hey there, friends!
Quick Note! I’m incredibly honored to share some personal news: I recently received an award for being a leader in business within the LGBTQ+ Community by the San Diego Business Journal! It’s a huge privilege to be recognized, and it inspires me even more to keep pushing boundaries and building strong, inclusive connections in everything we do.
Anyways…here we go! July is peak season, and for many of you, that means strong demand for pools and hot tubs. This is our moment to make sure we’re not just selling, but also building lasting relationships. Now’s the time to fine-tune those retargeting campaigns and keep your customers engaged even after the sale.
Riding the Economic Currents: What’s Happening in the Pool & Spa World
Let’s talk about the big picture – the economy. Things are a bit of a mixed bag across the country right now. We’re seeing some inflation still lingering, and that means folks are watching their wallets a bit closer. Consumer prices are up in many areas, and while unemployment might be stable in some regions, people are still feeling the pinch of higher costs. This means comparison shopping is definitely on the rise nationwide. When every dollar counts, customers want to be sure they’re making the best choice.
So, what does this mean for us? Trust signals are more important than ever! People are looking for reassurance that they’re getting quality and value. Think about leaning into strong testimonials and expert endorsements. Does your manufacturer have any celebrity or athlete endorsements? Now’s the time to highlight those! A well-known face or a compelling story from a satisfied customer can really make a splash and resonate with an audience who might be feeling a little cautious with their spending.
My Monthly Heads-Up: Focus on Customer Retention!
With folks being a bit more selective, keeping the customers you already have is pure gold. It’s much easier and more cost-effective to keep a customer happy than to find a new one, especially when the economy is a bit tight.
So, how do we do it? Personalized offers and loyalty programs are your best friends here. Think about rewarding those returning customers. Maybe it’s a discount on accessories, a special rate on their next maintenance plan, or even early access to new products. Make them feel special, make them feel valued, and they’ll keep coming back.
Did You Know?
Did you know that businesses that actually respond to online reviews see a whopping 20% increase in conversions? That’s huge! It shows you’re engaged, you care, and you’re listening. So, make sure you’re actively jumping into those conversations and engaging with all your customer feedback. It really makes a difference!
That’s a wrap for the July edition of The Poolside Perspective! Remember, stay confident, stay bold, and keep riding the wave. If you’ve got questions or want me to dive deeper into a topic, just hit reply—I’d love to hear from you!
Cheers 🍻
